Where is FlusheD ECO Bamboo toilet paper manufactured?
Our toilet paper is manufactured and responsibly made in china, where bamboo is readily and sustainably grown. Unfortunately, Australia does not offer this option to us at present and is not commercially available.

Where does the raw material Bamboo come from?
The Bamboo we use comes from the Sichuan province of China. Here it grows naturally in abundance, without the use of chemical insecticides, pesticides or fertilizers. Our manufacturer sources bamboo predominantly from local farming co-operatives, thereby supporting the rural economy. All sources are FSC certificated and therefore responsibly and sustainably managed.
What is your packaging made from?
Our paper wraps are made from FSC certificated paper and printed with soybean based inks. Our cartons are made from recycled paper and also printed with soybean inks. All of our packaging is fully recyclable.
Is your products and packaging completely plastic free?
Yes, being plastic free is very important to us. The toilet paper, the packages (including the tape) are all plastic free.
Why are your toilet rolls individually wrapped?
The wrappers have the added benefit of keeping each toilet roll hygienically dust and dirty free up until the times of use, as well as looking the good in your bathroom too. As a point of difference, we have also chosen to make our paper super thin to allow for quicker decomposing.
Our wrapper is 17gsm compared to other brands which are 32gsm.
What are your wrappers made of?
Our paper wraps are made from FSC certificated paper and printed with soybean based inks.
Is your bamboo tissue suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes! Our bamboo toilet tissue has the benefit of being naturally super soft, hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. It is great for all skin types, and doesn’t need any chemical enhancers such as softening additives, chemical scents or dyes. It’s also free from any of the chemicals associated with recycled paper, such as de-inking agents and BPA.
Is your bamboo toilet tissue bleached?
Yes! Our paper is bleached using a process that is free from elemental chlorine (ECF). This is generally considered one of the most environmentally safe ways to bleach paper.
Are your products vegan?
Yes! We don’t use any animal derived ingredients, and have worked hard to source vegan-friendly components at every stage of the development process. This includes the glue used for the inner roll cores, outer cartons and paper tape. We use a plant-based glue for these parts of the packaging. We also do not test on animals, and no animal testing takes place within our supply chain.
Is your bamboo toilet paper suitable for septic tanks and composting toilets?
Yes! As plumbers we need to ensure the safety of our sewer system. Our paper has been tested for disintegration and is well suited to both systems.
How many rolls in each carton?
There are 48 individually wrapped rolls in each carton of FlusheD ECO 100% bamboo toilet paper.
How many sheets are in each roll?
There are 370 sheets in each roll of FlusheD ECO 100% bamboo toilet paper.

Yes, we offer free shipping to metro city areas all around Australia. We offer regional and country area’s a flat rate of $12.50
Can I pick up my order?
Absolutely, our warehouse is located in Campbelltown NSW and we are happy for you to come and say hi and pick up your order direct.
How quick will i get my FlusheD ECO Bamboo toilet paper? Our aim Is to get your order out and dispatched within 24 hours of payment received. Our deliveries have been quick with a 2 to 3 days delivery time. However due to the latest pandemic shipping and delivery times may vary.

Is your company Australia owned?
Yes, founders Cameron and Renee are based in Sydney, Australia and currently run another business CRG Plumbing & Maintenance. It was their background and knowledge in the plumbing industry that forced them to understand the importance of better alternative options for toilet tissue for their customers, and also for the environment. After much research into sourcing the best product, FlusheD ECO was born.
Is your company online only?
No, we have a physical address located in South West Sydney in NSW. Although we encourage online ordering, we do offer a local pick up option to give all our customers the opportunity to meet us in person.

Why is Bamboo better?

Bamboo toilet paper may seem more expensive than regular toilet paper that you find in your supermarket however when you start looking more into it you may be surprised that bamboo toilet paper is in fact on par if not a little cheaper than your regular branded toilet paper you would find when waking the isles at your local supermarket not to mention it has huge benefits to our environment and protecting our waterways and saving you potential costs in plumbing issues.
The best way to compare is to follow the simple rule of Cost per sheet equation. When you see this on price tags you will notice that it is mostly calculated per 100 sheets.
Comparing toilet paper prices by the cost per sheet is a helpful way to determine the best value. Here's how to calculate the cost per sheet:
Find the total number of sheets in the package. This information is usually listed on the packaging or product description.
Divide the total cost of the package by the number off rolls in the pack, divide by number of sheets per roll x 100
For example, if we use FlusheD ECO pricing, if a box of 48 double length rolls costs $66 and contains 370 sheets, the cost per sheet is $66 / 48 / 370 x 100 = $0.37 cents per 100 sheets.
Compare the cost per sheet for different packages and brands to find the best value whilst also checking out all the other benefits that bamboo toilet paper offers.

Due to the current challenges the world is facing right now we understand that there is a drive to support local more than ever however we also need to think bigger and to understand that the solution isn’t always that easy.
Naturally as Australian’s we are passionate about our own country which is why we have not been surprised by the questions we have received in regard to our manufacturing process and our reasons for exploring offshore options.

Your Questions Answered.
Why do you make your product in China and not Australia?
Being Australian, naturally we wanted to manufacture in our own Country. As experienced plumbers, we know that bamboo has better benefits to not only our environment but for our sewer system as well.
China’s supply chains for collecting and converting bamboo into tissue are unique and have access to the biggest bamboo forests in the world.
Australia just does not have this ability yet. We hope this will change in the future and at that stage we will investigate moving our production locally.
Our Chinese manufacturing partners also have the capabilities to reduce the environmental footprint by offering the ability to produce a plastic free product at maximum space efficiency to allow a more cost effective but quality product.
This is achieved by hand wrapping extra-long rolls with upwards of 370 sheets per roll and packing them securely into a recycled box containing 48 rolls. This also allows us to provide jobs for everyday people who are also supporting their families.
Western producers had non-flexible, automated production lines designed to only make low sheet count rolls, wrapped in plastic to service the supermarket world at scale.

What about the Pandas?
China has the biggest bamboo forest in the world and bamboo is grass that grows very fast.
The Bamboo that is sourced for our Toilet Paper are all planted by farmers and not cut down from natural forests and therefore Panda food is protected.
What about jobs in Australia?
We are all about supporting and creating jobs in Australia and that is why we choose Australian companies to assist with logistics, storage, shipping & delivery.
As FlusheD ECO grows through your support, we will be able to continue to create more jobs in house. So, the more you buy the more jobs we will create.
Will you consider changing your manufacturing to Australia?
Of course, if the opportunity for us to be able to supply the same quality product cost effectively that gives us the same outcome of being the best options for sustainability, our environment and our sewer system then we would defiantly consider this option to move all manufacturing to Australia.
With everything going on, why should we consider supporting China?
We need to think of China, not in a political way but as a human race who like you and i are trying the best, they can support their family.
We need to think of the bigger impacts that our actions have if we simply stop importing from other countries like China.
We feel that if they can provide us with a quality product that is better for our shared environment that has multiple benefits that we currently do not have access to here in Australia than we are more than happy to support them, as it has enabled us to bring this product here for all of us to enjoy and contribute to making a difference.
When sourcing our preferred manufacturer, we were also committed to ensuring goods are made sustainably, workers are paid fairly and operate in safe working conditions.
